Apple Cider Mimosas

The perfect way to start your Thanksgiving or holiday morning. It’s a twist on the the typical mimosa, instead of orange juice, I used apple cider. It’s delicious! This could easily be made a mocktail by using sparkling cider.

Ingredients:

1 part champagne

1 part apple cider

So easy, just put equal parts of champagne and apple cider in your glass. Cheers!

Melon Pucker Martini

I guess by now that you might have figured out that I like watermelon and limes. And cocktails! 😉 This drink is very refreshing and tasty. It can be made kid and family friendly by leaving out the vodka and replacing it with 2 additional cups of Cherry 7-Up.

Ingredients:
4 cups of seedless watermelon, about 1 1/2 pounds
3/4 cup frozen limeade concentrate, thawed
4 cups Cherry 7- Up, I used diet
2 cups Vodka, more or less to taste
Limes for garnish

In a food processor or blender, blend watermelon until it becomes juice. Strain juice with a mesh strainer to remove pulp and any tiny seeds. Pour into a pitcher and add thawed limeade and stir. Add Cherry 7-Up and stir. Garnish with lime slices in pitcher. Serve immediately! Cheers!

Damn Good Bloody Mary

  
It’s 5:00 somewhere… Today I bring you a Damn Good Bloody Mary. This recipe was given to me by my friend, Pat George. To be honest I am not a huge fan of Bloody Mary’s but I love this one. Three ingredients not counting garnish and ice!

Ingredients:
1/3 cup unsalted beef cooking stock
1/3 cup Zing Zang Bloody Mary Mix
1/3 cup Vodka

Fill a glass with ice, add ingredients, stir and enjoy!
